DM816x Video Embed with Text/OSD

Hi All,

Can I embed a text into the captured video using openMax protocol, if not what would be the possible ways for me to do that before passing captured video for further processing (compression, streaming).

Besides that, is the current software kits supports any video analytic function (such as motion detection).

Hi Cheng,

As the EZSDK has openmax non tunneled support, capture buffer data can be accessed on A8, so app can modify the buffers before giving it to Encode. Current SDK does not support videeo analytic function.

Currently is there any software package that can perform overlay onto the raw video that runs on DSP side? Any sample code on this?

Besides that, is there any software package i can use to convert the raw image into jpeg on DM8168?
