AM625: Implementing thermal shut down

Hi,

My customer is planning to implement thermal shut down mechanism in their system.
When the programmed threshold temperature is reached, the device is shut down by software.
I guess similar mechanism is already there in our Linux SDK, but they will use non-Linux OS (VxWorks).

Is there any recommended sequence the customer refers to?

My initial reaction is that they need to work with VxWorks to put this requirement in and manage it. I do not think they should implement it asynchronous to their VxWork framework, as there maybe some recovery required. We are not VxWorks experts, has your customer check with VxWorks already on what they can or cannot support.

Hi Mukul,

I asked the customer about the background of the query.
He just wants to know how TI SDK handles thermal shut down. It does not related to VxWorks.
Could you point me the source files or document which handle thermal shut down in Linux SDK?
