PROCESSOR-SDK-J721E: enabling QSGMII

please help , I need to be able to enable the QSGMII and use three Ethernet ports , I have looked at the PDF document ( FAQ - Enabling 8-Port Ethernet with Linux in J721E EVM ) but there wasn't much help there, I need the code if possible , any help is very much appreciated.

Hi Mustapha,

Suggest looking into the EthFW documentation and source code that comes with the PSDK RTOS release. This has support for the CPSW9G that can use QSGMII interface.

Hi,

For enabling 8-Ports on J721E, we need GESI Expansion card & QSGMII Card.

4-Ports from QSGMII (Port-2,5,6,7) and 4-Ports from GESI (Port-1,3,4,8) as per TI EVM and default SDK.

Please refer to above links for HW dependencies for EthFw.
