AM625: Root file system and kernel image update

Hi Ti Team,

We are using AM625 EVK and Flash the EMMC using DFU. Now, I want to update only the root file system and kernel Image using the type C DRP connector port.

How can I update the root file system and kernel image?

Thanks for the reply.

I have followed these documents for EMMC Flash using USB. But Now I only want to update the kernel and the root file system. Is it possible without a DFU image update?

SW update process is a broader task managed by user depending on user's system design/requirements...
- What are SW components to be updated, bootloader, OS kernel, user apps...
- Where the updated SW components come from, OTA, peripheral I/F on board...

There's no ready-to-use support SW update in TI SDKs.

There are community solutions available, here is one example for your reference
