AM1808 LCDC Raster Data Order Select

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM1808

Hi,

We are using an AM1808 microprocessor on our MMI board. We drive a 5.7" LCD with this processor. We run the LCDC in 16BPP raster mode and want to reverse the

16 bit data order at output of LCDC module. We thought that the RD_ORDER bit of LCDC RASTER CTRL register would change the data order of a single pixel data ( 16 bit ) from

MSB to LSB or vice verse, but when we look at the data output of LCDC there is no change in the order of data bits. If it is not supposed to work that way, for what purpose the

RD_ORDER select bit of RASTER_CTRL register is used?

Thanks,

Zafer.
