Hi, TI expert!

I have a development environment for am6234, with our own evaluation board.

The software SDK version is PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-RT-AM62X-08.06.00.42.

I saw that the latest SDK has implemented a screen lighting function in Uboot, as shown in the following link:

I would like to ask how to achieve this if I want to light up the screen in Uboot in PROCESS SDK LINUX-RT-AM62X-08.06.00.42.

Hi,

The feature was introduced in 9.2 and the Uboot version is different between two SDK. My recommendation would be to move to 9.2 SDK otherwise, you would have to port the patches to 8.6.

No, we do not have a patch and as I mentioned earlier, you would need to backport the changes.

After tracking the code, I found that the latest SDK's uboot does not support the PWM backlight function, as shown in the following figure:

If I want to use the PWM backlight function in Uboot, how can I modify the Uboot code to achieve this goal？

Hi,

Apologies for the confusion and I did not know you were asking about PWM. I just internally checked and we do not have PWM support in Uboot.

Hi Krunal，

What is the reason why the PWM function is not supported in uboot? Do you plan to develop PWM functionality in Uboot in the future? The support for PWM in uboot is quite common, and I don't know why TI doesn't support this feature.
