bring up linux on TMS320C6424 DSP

Hi all,

I have several questions about linux-c6x project for C64x+.

1. I had a look on latest release notes at linux-c6x.org and saw that only several EVMs are reported as being tested. So, how much work is needed to build kernel suitable for running on C6424 DSP?

2. What drivers should be written for C6424 to prepare linux to be good enough?

3. How to re-configure kernel for different periphelals base address? For example, UART or I2C is stated as already supported but 6424 has two UARTS and their location on mamory map differs from either C6678 or C6455.

4. Is there any guide describing details on writing our own drivers under linux of C6000? I had some driver experience on writing driver modules for Debian (kernel 2.6.25) and I'm not sure the x86 techniques are still valid for C6000.

Regards, Vladimir
