info on a separate e2e (wrt indexing on EQEP  see  (+) AM6442: what EQEP registers to set for the case of the gated Index input HIGH for the duration while the B input is low ? - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E  support forums )

that info should be included in the appropriate  AM64x Academy
