AM623: how to archieve uart CIR mode in Linux Processor SDK?

Part Number: AM623

I use HS0038B as CIR receiver, and its data pin has been connected to AM623 usar2 RXD pin.

But I don't know how to configure device tree and kernel to get CIR data which is from remote controller.

Can someone tell me what and how to do?

Hi Chuan,

The kernel doesn't support AM62x UART in CIR mode.

Do you have any ideas to achieve this function? If I should use uart2 rxd pin as normal gpio, and record its high or low level time?

Hi Chuan,

I don't. I quickly looked through the kernel source code but didn't find a driver to support infrared device such as HS0038B.
