SD Card CSL examples not working with MDK and C5515 EVM

Hi,

I am using the C5515 EVM with the ECG MDK daughter card. I cannot get the SD/MMC CSL examples to work when the MDK daughter card is connected to the EVM. They work perfectly fine when the daughter card is not connected. I saw an earlier post http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/tms320c5000_power-efficient_dsps/f/109/p/43285/169819.aspx#169819 with the same issue; but there was no answer posted in that thread. Is there a software setting or a hardware limitation that is causing this issue? Thank you for any help with this.

    Hi,

    There is a hardware conflict on GPIO0. You cannot do SD/MMC test with MDK daughter card.

    Hi Hyun,

    Can you explain me why there is a hardware conflict on GPIO0? I want to use SD with MDK daughter card, It is only a problem of the example or it is a general problem? Can I configure the SD for storage data withouth using the CSL?

    I read this post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/tms320c5000_power-efficient_dsps/f/109/t/56394.aspx  and I can't believe it.

    I'm very confusing with this topic.
