Hi Team,

After promotion to customer for EVSE solution, some questions need to be clarified.

1. for CCS, what version will it support? CCS1 or CCS2?

2. about NACS, what do it mean "NACS only"?

3. for ISO15118/CAN, what is the status of TI's design now?

4. for the analog board, what is the status of TIDA-010939?

5. for OCPP version support, what is the latest version ready now?

Please help.

Hi,

I can only discuss a couple of your questions, I will pass along your questions to additional groups referring to CCS, NACS and the tida-0939 board.

The ISO15118 and OCPP implementations are open sourced and come from a company called Pionix. This is the link to the company website.

I am not sure how to answer your CAN question, could you elaborate more please?

See this article for clarification on the supported plug standards: https://www.ti.com/lit/ta/ssztd10/ssztd10.pdf Considering all of the standards in question (CCS1, CCS2, NACS) use PLC PHY to perform high-level charging for DC charging sessions with the implementation of the ISO-15118 standard, they are all supported when you add the plug and connect the wiring in the cables appropriately.

This board was designed by PHYTEC (https://www.ti.com/partner/PHYTC) and the design files have been published as part of the EVSE Development Platform for anyone to build along with TIDA-010239 for testing the whole system.

TIDA-010939 is not an Analog board. It is an expansion/adapter board to connect the SK-AM62B-P1 (starter kit EVM for the AM625) to the TIDA-010239. CAN transceivers were tested with this board but it is not in production.

ISO-015118 and OCPP are supported by the Pionix EVerest open-source software stacks (https://www.ti.com/partner/PIONIX)

At the time of release OCPP 1.6 was supported and verified at CharIN testivals, but it would be best to contact Pionix to confirm if OCPP 2.0 or 2.1 have been tested with EVs and official test equipment (from Vector or Keysight, for example).
