We need to build the RTOS from the PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721E.

While building the IPC, is the RTOS also built, or not?

What is the procedure to build the RTOS from the PDK directory?

Hi,

Sorry, I did not understand what you meant by building RTOS.

If you mean you want to build IPC example on freertos, then yes, it is possible to build the same from pdk/packages/ti/build folder.

If you want to build the RTOS SDK, then please follow the below steps for the same.

The ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-09_02_00_05.tar.gz contains the FreeRTOS source under the PDK/packages/ti/kernel/freertos/FreeRTOS-LTS/FreeRTOS-Kernel directory. We need to build this FreeRTOS source.

Please share the build procedure fot FreeRTOS.

May I know the reason to rebuild this Freertos Kernel?

You could build any Freertos based example using the steps mentioned in this document
