TDA4VM: Change the x3c camera

  • Hi,

    From the yavta command, you have mentioned -c8 and I see 8 buffers are received at 60FPS.

    Which means your camera is streaming.

    As this is raw streaming, in order to display the same, you would require and ISP plugin in your gstreamer command.

    The RTOS + Linux SDK does not have the edgeAI plugins by default. 

    This is available only on the EdgeAI SDK.

    Hence I would suggest to use the EdgeAI SDK here. 

    Can you create the SD Card using EdgeAI SDK and try the same?

    In this case, when you include overlays in uEnv.txt, the startup script automatically set the routing and formats based on the sensor.

  • Hi,

    If you do not have a fusion board or imx390 sensor connected, there is no need to include those overlays in the U-Boot environment variables. IMX390 has been validated and verified to work on this platform with 960 and 953.

    As far as the single input multi inference application issue goes, could you try running the following:

    I found that the code of edgeai-tiovx-apps in version 9.2, low-level access to v4l2, and isp is what I need, but there is no such code in version 8.6. Then I tried to port the code, but it failed to compile, or whether there is a similar code in version 8.6

  • AVM architecture is to use the standard v4l2 to capture the video stream, through the image stitching, compositing a picture, and finally output to the screen, I have seen gstream online. But I don't know how to integrate the isp part of ti into it
