My company has a product that uses the DM355 chipset in a small non-intrusive medical device. The development and production has been done offshore but now we're wanting to bring this in-house. The product has some custom interface software added on - a touch-screen GUI. We will also be migrating to the DM365 chipset since the DM355 is being phased out. These are probably some very simple questions for the expertise here but our developers are all new to firmware development. My questions are:
- What hardware interfaces will be needed to bring the development in-house (Jtag, etc.).
- Is there a road map to follow in migrating from DM355 to the DM365.
- What software development platforms will be needed to be able to support the GUI code.
- What's the ramp-up time for a non-firmware developer to be productive with this platform, just in general.
