TI8168 EVM - saveenv command at uboot hangs the system

Hello,

After entering all the environmental variables I am trying to save them before I continue the bootup. I get:

TI8168_EVM#saveenv
Saving Environment to NAND...
Erasing Nand...

Then the system hangs.

Any pointers what can be going wrong? Is there a switch setting I need to set for enabling NAND?

Is the SW4 is ON for NAND?

One more point, there was problem long time ago with using and SD card I think... if the board has been around awhile the NAND may have been removed from the socket, make sure the NAND is still present.
