AM623: high temperature

Hi Li,

Is it only during Idle time you see higher than expected temperatures?

It looks like the CPU Utilization is around ~0% without htop, but I'm not sure about memory. Is the memory usage higher than expected?

I recommend looking into killing a few of the PIDs if possible to reduce the memory usage.

Another possibility is change the operating point of the A53 cores, but only do so if it doesn't impact the performance of the system.

1.What is the actual temperature of your AM6231 evaluation board when it is idle?

2.Can we reduce the frequency of the CPU for testing? If I want to do this, is there any linux command that can be implemented? Or is it necessary to modify the code?

For Item 2:

You mentioned you are using RT Linux which does not allow for using CPUFreq (the drivers that support Dynamic Frequency Scaling).
