Hi TI,
How you are doing well.
I have a question: How can I change the CPSW2G self MAC address? I want to make self MAC Address configurable during runtime.
I am using PDK v8.2.
Best regards,
Hasan

Hi Hasan,
There are multiple ways of changing the MAC address during run-time -
[Match]
Name=eth1

Hi Tanmay,
I am using baremetal for development.
For my application, I want to change the self MAC address of my CPWS2G Port1 so that if I transmit a packet I see the changed MAC address as my source address. How can I change the self MAC address? It is feasible?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Best regards,
Hasan
Hi Hasan,
Can you point me to the application in pdk which you are using for this.
From hardware perspective, you would need to change the MAC address in CPSW_PN_SA_L_REG (0x46022308) and CPSW_PN_SA_H_REG ()0x4602230C).But this is only used for flow-control. For source packet address to be updated, this would have to be done from software while creating the packet and adding header to it.

Thank you.
