Hello Team,

I have few questions related to the TDA4x SOCs and have mentioned them below.

1. I was looking for the datasheet of TDA4V MidEco followed by it's TRM and Errata specification. Does 'M' suffix at the end stands for MidEco.?

Can you please send me the latest link to download the same? I found some links below but not sure if it is the same which i was looking for.

2 .I could also see TDA4VE TDA4AL TDA4VL. I believe where ever there is 'E' at the end then it is called Entry variant, 'L' for Low and 'H'. Am i correct ? Do you have any link which talks about this Suffix. If yes, can you please share the link?

Hi Naveen,

TDA4VMid and TDA4VMidEco are different products.

TDA4VM details can be found at (https://www.ti.com/product/TDA4VM) .

TDA4VMidEco has three products under it.

TDA4AL-Q1 ( https://www.ti.com/product/TDA4VAL-Q1)
TDA4VL-Q1 (https://www.ti.com/product/TDA4VL-Q1)
TDA4VE-Q1 (https://www.ti.com/product/TDA4VE-Q1)

TDA4VE refers to TDA4VMidEco not to Entry variant. (E is for Eco). These three products are pin-pin compatible and share the same data manual. Table 5.1 in data manual( https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tda4vl-q1.pdf ) compares its features.

Hi Mahmut,

Thanks for the response. Now, am clear about MidEco variant. TDA4VE refers to TDA4VMidEco and it has 3 variants as mentioned above. Does TDA4AL and TDA4VL refers to something ? what does L stand for ?

I believe TDA4VM(M for Mid) stands for TDA4VMid. Am i correct?

Hi!,

"L" stands for Low for both TDA4AL and TDA4VL. Also, "A" is for analytics (no GPU) and "V" is for viewing (with GPU).
