TDA4AEN-Q1: Timing Sequence upon Power Up

Hi, going through the datasheet and going through the power up sequencing, there is a nice diagram explaining which rails to power first, however, I have been unable to find exactly what the exact timings/minimum hold times are between each sequencing. Could an expert please chime in and point me to the right resource to find the exact timings, or if there is no exact timings, could that be clarified?

Referring to this appnote:

J722S/AM67x/TDA4VEN/TDA4AEN Processor Automotive Power Designs using TPS6522312-Q1 PMIC

TI recommends/requires customers use one of the PDN topologies summarized in this appnote (based on what is implemented on the EVM). The PMIC takes care of implementing the recommended supply sequencing. The actual timings are documented in Table titled "Base Power Voltage and Sequencing"

Hi Kyle Castille,

Thank you for the response. If i may, one more follow up question regarding the UHS SD Card, on page 30 of the above mentioned paper, a GPIO pin toggles "VSEL_SD_VIO" which then switches VDD_SD_DV from 3.3V to 1.8V upon seeing a UHS SD Card. Do the default drivers in the TDA4AEN set a specific GPIO to toggle this or does the user need to program it? Thank you for your speedy help

Hi kenneth

I am not sure which SDK we are talking about here, in the Linux we just need to do the pin configuration and the rest will be taken care by the driver.

Example the pin configuration for the VDD_SD_DV is as follows on J722S

sd card node.
