Hi,

My AM67A design uses a 4GB LPDDR4. The EVM has an 8GB LPDDR4.

Therefore I need to use the online LPDDR4 SYSCONFIG to generate new files for the bootloaders.

I'd like to confirm that these numbers below look right for a 2 die (dual rank?), 2 channel, 1Gx32 (4GB) LPDDR4. I'm setting the speed to 1500MHz at this stage.

Hello Stephen,

I have a couple requests:

Can you please share the part number of the LPDDR4?
If the rank information is not available in the datasheet, can you please check how the Chip Selects are connected in your schematic?
1. From our EVM schematic. Pins M3 & P4 are used for rank 0, and then Pins M4 & P3 are used for rank 1.

Also, please keep in mind to adjust the latency timing parameters in the tool if using 1500 MHz. Additionally, we recommend adjusting tRFCab to match the 8 Gbit DDR density setting for performance improvement.

The p/n is a Micron MT53E1G32D2FW-046 .

Hi Stephen,

Based on the MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:B TR datasheet, it is single rank and therefore should be set to 16 Gbit DDR Density and 1 Chip Select / Rank.

EDIT: The actual part number is MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:B. In which case, it is dual rank and should have 8 Gbit DDR Density and 2 Chip Select / Rank.

Hi Mark,

Rank seems to be one of the more confusing aspects of LPDDR4 (at least to me). According to my interp. of the datasheet the 1Gx32 config has dual ranks?.
