Hi,

Does DM8168 supports A/V synchronization feature?

Does any external circuit is required ?

    Hello,

    A/V sync is not supported in the Linux SDK. This will be supported on Gstreamer.  Initial support for GStreamer will be in the next EZSDK release in 4Q, 2011.

    Hi Marc,

    Is A/V sync supported now? If so which version of EZSDK?

    Also I have few questions on A/V sync.

    1. The audio timestamping is done from Linux(A8) with usec resolution

    2.The video timestamping is sone from SYSBIOS (M3) with millisecond resolution.

    Please confirm the above points. If the above points are true, can you please explain how the A/V sync is achieved?

    On the same lines, I have one more question - Can the Video frame timestamping at M3 side be done at usec resolution? Has you tried this?
