AM69: Octal SPI boot from Macronix MX66UM1G45G

I want to confirm that the Macronix MX66UM1G45G Octal SPI flash is supported for booting the AM69 family of processors.
I am assuming any prior issues have been resolved.

Is this a valid choice for my custom design?
Any known issues with this part?

Hi John,

This is by default supported part on AM69.

Can you share the read command ID for the custom part you plan to use? I will need to check with ROM experts based on that if it is supported.

Hi John,

Thanks. Yes that does seem to match. So from the hardware perspective this seems to be matching.
We will need to check on Linux/U-Boot support for this particular flash.
