We are considering using a second eMMC on MMCSD1, on a removable board.
From the reference manual, it’s not clear if we can do this OK, it looks like the two MMCSD units are basically the same, but MMCSD1 only seems to support 4-bit interface and the situation with 1.8V referenced IO is unclear. It’s mentioned in the boot section of the reference manual that RAW mode is not supported by eMMC on MMCSD1, which presumably means we can’t boot from it in HS enforced mode.
Is it possible to successfully hook an HS200 eMMC up to MMCSD1 in 4-bit mode?
Is it correct the ROM won't boot from that (even in 1-bit mode)?
