AM625: Secure Board Configuration

Part Number: AM625

Tool/software:

Dear TI Support Team,

I need your assistance with the following topics:

  1. I require more information on the following topics in Secure Board Configuration:

    • Processor Access Control List
      • Is this configuration meant for Controlling one processor via any host. What does it mean to control a processor?

    • Host Hierarchy
      • If a particular host is assigned with supervisor host then what will be the impact of this supervisor host on that particular host?
      • Is it possible to assign any host to supervise any other host without any restrictions?

  2. Could you please explain the use case and significance of the parameter "enable_saul_psil_global_config_writes" in the context of SA2UL authentication configuration?

  3. Is it possible to read secure board configuration values for verification at any stage of the booting process?

I referred to the Security Board Configuration section in the TISCI User Guide (Security Board Configuration — TISCI User Guide). If there are additional documents that provide more information on this topic, kindly share them for further reference.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

Poovarasan K
