TDA4VM-Q1: How to generate ARXML files

Hi, TI Experts:

I have downloaded MCUSW_09_02_00_05_CONFIG-windows-installer.exe and Elektrobit.zip, and installed them.

I refer to MCUSW Documentation and follow the chapter [MCAL Configurator User Guide] to try.

In [Generation of EPD and ARXML] section, it used (Module Name)_NonEB.xdm to generate epd or arxml files.

But I cannot find the (Module Name)_NonEB.xdm in MCUSW_09_02_00_05_CONFIG\mcal_drv\mcal_config\plugins\J721E\.

1. How do I generate arxml files?

2. I used EB Tresos to create project to generate and can find the .h/.c file in output folder. Can EB Tresos also generate arxml files ?

Hello,

You followed the below link and you are saying you couldn't find NONEB xdm files ? Can you use XDM files and try rather than NonEB.xdm files ?

EB tresos won't generate arxml files , axml files are for davinici configurator

Why do the modules have these differences ?

For certain modules we have xpath in the .xdm files and this cause errors while generating .arxml files so _NonEB.xdm files are introduced .If the xpath variable is not used then directly you can use .xdm files.

In short if you have _NonEB.xdm files then you can use it otherwise use .xdm files to generate the .arxml files.
