SK-AM68: Unit DOA

Part Number: SK-AM68

Tool/software:

I have already posted this, but was asked to post again in this area.

The Unit arrived today, turning on appeared to work for a short time, but shortly into a 2nd run after an SD image burn, I could smell a very typical Burning smell, and the TI Loader screen which had appeared upon booting dissapeared at the same time then came back whilst I was Quickly removing Power from the unit.

I inspected the top to see nothing obvious, turning the unit over within a very short time I found that at least one component has burned out - It appears to be FL13 - Immediately above C207, but also looks like the Track underneath the component has also raised from the board.  I had not inspected the board prior to powering up.  Nothing was touching the board and it was temporarily mounted to an acryllic test bed.

I cleared the Carbon away to get a better view of the Components, I do not have facility for repairing Board or SMD components, or Testing of the entire unit to find out if any Repair is successful.

I am hopeful we can return for a swap of unit.  This is our first Development board, looking to get into a Large volume of utilising these as AI control units in due course.

Images attached showing Prior to cleaning the component, and after to identify the part.
