[FAQ] AM623: Could you help to provide Pinmux excel file for AX62XX?

Part Number: AM623
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

Hi Expert,

Could you help to provide  Pinmux excel file for AX62XX?

SysConfig Tool export csv file does not list MUX Mode.

TDAV4VM provides MUX Mode

Thanks

Daniel

Can I ask the intended purpose of this Excel and why the datasheet/SysConfig will not work for you?

  • Hi Paul

AM62XX SysConfig export to csv file only lists the functions in use, and does not list the MUX mode of the CPU ball pad in use.
I don’t know the other functions of MUX mode of each CPU BALL.

If customers design their own chassis, they need to provide some information. Some customers' chassis specifications are not the same as the original design, so Mux mode information is required.

    Thanks

    Daniel

  • AM62XX SysConfig export to csv file only lists the functions in use, and does not list the MUX mode of the CPU ball pad in use.

The CSV file contains this information. For example, a snippet from the output csv (colorized) ...

    Yellow is the pad name
    Blue is the bull number
Green is the selected mux signal
Orange is the selected mux mode.

I don’t know the other functions of MUX mode of each CPU BALL.

The full mux functions are detailed in the device datasheet, section 6.2, Pin Attributes.

If customers design their own chassis, they need to provide some information. Some customers' chassis specifications are not the same as the original design, so Mux mode information is required.

I have attached a pinmux spreadsheet with this information. However.....

    • This is not a substitute for the datasheet and SysConfig tool.
    • The datasheet is always the golden source.
    • The SysConfig tool MUST be used to ensure any interface that has IOSets is properly configured - failure to do so may result in interface timing issues.

  • Hi Paul

AM62x Pinmux 039.xlsx cannot be edited and requires password.

Could you help to provide excel file that can be edited without password?

    Thanks

    Daniel

  • As requested....
