CCSTUDIO: Missing 'With Data' option in the 'Breakpoint Properties'

Hi,

I am currently using CCS1271 and I want to set a hardware watchpoint to halt the program when the watchpoint gets written to a specific value.

However, I couldn't find the the 'With Data' option on my window.

Is there anything I am missing?

Please note that the available options will depend on the device. The document you are referring to is for F28x devices. You are using a device from a completely different device family. I also see the same watchpoint options with my MSPM0L1306.

Hi Ki,

I appreciate the clarification. I looked into the documentation "MSPM0 L-Series 32MHz Microcontrollers" and it looks like the device doesn't support a feature to halt the processor when a specific memory is written to a specific value. Is my understanding correct?

I was hoping to utilize the "Condition" feature to achieve what I want but I couldn't find any relevant information in the documentation. Could you share any insights into this?

That is how I interpreted it also. However I am not an expert on hardware debug functionality of that device.

This field is to enter a GEL expression to evaluate. If the expression returns false, the target will not remain halted but instead re-run.

But note that the "Debugger Response" fields only apply to software breakpoints. It should not be exposed for hardware breakpoints/watchpoints:
