RTP with OpenMax Components

Hello,

 

We are looking for more details of RTP in OpenMAX components.

Could you please let me know if there is any guide or documents on RTP.

     Hi,

       We stopped supporting RTP OMX componenets due to some internal reasons, hence we have not documented details on RTP in the release collaterals.

    Then, How could we do the video streaming?

    I got the new Gstream-openmax lib yesterday and after looking through it become a little bit confused.

    I hope you or other TI employee could clarify some of my following question.

     

    --1.Why in the gst-omx lib, there is no component like the one in openmax lib "omx_ctrl", which is required for video capture?

    --2. Gstreamer will need v4l2 to do the video capture, while in omx currently using omx_ctrl to do it.

        If I want to do a whole chain like video capture->h.264enc-> video streaming through RTP

       What should I do right now?

       Should I modify the old example like video-capture of ezsdk 5.02 with the new gst-omx lib?
