TMS320C6655: adding Mcbsp package.

HI ,

I am using the TMS320C6655 processor.

I am trying to add the MCBSP package to another project because i want to use mcbsp API in main function. I have added all the necessary libraries, packages in the include and file search paths, but I am still facing the same issue. Can you provide any solutions? Please find the image for your reference.

As per your screenshot, the error says, " Library not found - ti.csl.ae66"

Include the CSL library in the project properties-->C6000 Linker---> File search path

Hi Shankari,

Thank you for your response. I have added the file to the file search as per your instructions, but I am still encountering the same error.

From your screenshot, it looks like you have added just the file name, "ti.csl.ae66".

You have to add the path where this library is located.

For example,

C:\ti\pdk_c667x_2_0_16\packages\ti\csl\lib\c6678\c66\release -----> THIS IS THE PATH where this library is located.

I am sure you can fix these errors by yourself, as they are your custom code..

It is not related to processor related query... I mean, these are part of building normal software code... during the development stages.

I believe, you can understand the procedures by following the compiler doc of C6678. This doc will help you to understand the compiling and linking procedures and stages.

I would recommend you to build some sample working code offered by TI.

For example, build some platform test code as per the steps given here:

This will give you some good hands-on experience on how to build ( i.e., compile, link etc )
