Maximum pixel clock that can be driven for VIP port is 165MHz, Since 1080P30 is 74.25MHz and with 8 bit it becomes 148.5 MHz it can be driven using 8-bit port.

Is it means 8 bit 4:2:2 DDR pixel output intefcae of ADV7604 to DM8168 VIN1?

Hi,
I am not aware of ADV7604 operation. But, yes VINx can support 8-bit 4:2:2 output to DDR. Can you please send me the spec of ADV, i will look at it and let you know the details.

Hardik Shah
Hi Hardik,
The details of the spec could be download from http://ez.analog.com/docs/DOC-1545 (bottom of the page) or http://ez.analog.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/1545-12-4219/ADV7604%20Manuals.zip
I would like to double confirm with you, so, that VINx can support both 8-bit 4:2:2 SDR (at 148.5MHz) and 8-bit 4:2:2 DDR (rising and falling edge at 74.25 MHz), is it correct?
Regards,
Anfernee
Confirmed that 8-bit SDR mode is supported on VINx but DDR (Double Data Rate) mode is NOT.
