C5505 Availability - Is there a problem?

We've designed the TMS320C5505AZCH12 into a machine vibration analysis product and are just preparing to spin the first boards and we find that there is no stock of this part with any of the distributors on the product page of the TI website. Is there a problem in obtaining this device and where can we get 10 pieces for first spin prototypes?

    Hi John,

    At this time, we have no issue supplying devices after orders are placed. Our distributors are just not holding excess stock in inventory. Please place an order with the distributor for larger quantity orders.

    For the 10 samples you need for first spin, you can place a free sample request on our website.

    Hi Mark

    Thanks for the speedy reply. I tried to request 10 sample pieces using the website but it only appears to offer the option of 1 piece (and oddly - 0 pieces). Is there some other route whereby I can request 10 pieces?
