Running example codes on DM6437

Hi everyone,

I am trying to run the example codes that come with the DM6437 board.

normally when you connect the board it will run the default program which acquire video and audio data and display/play it back.

When I run the example code ...... (videopreview.pjt) ...... which suppose to render video data from camera and display it back

however when I compile the code and connect it to CCS to board the widow start shaking and now video data is rendered .. ( I can only see the previous image).

can anyone tell me why this is happening and why I can not see the video streaming.

Could i know which version of BIOS PSP you are using?

Hi Sandeep,

I am using CCS version 3.3.38.2

BIOS version 5.31.02

Code generation tool version v6.0.8

Integrated development version 5.98.0.219

Actually I am trying to run simple examples like video preview example ......... I can build it connect to the board and load the .out file

but when I click run I don't see any image it either become blank screen or it shows a static image. When I run the default programs

it runs properly which means there is nothing wrong with the board .......

Sincere apologies for the delay in response.

Could you please specify the BIOS PSP (which contains the driver and the sampel app) version number, so that i can walk through it and provide a possible solution.

Thank you very much Mr. Sandeep,

To be honest I don't even know what is this PSP thing ....... but all the drivers and sample app are in folder <dvsdk_1_01_00_15>

so I guess the PSP version is 1.01.00.15

The DSP Bios version 5.31.07.14

xdc 2.95.02

The product support package (PSP) version is 1.00.02

Hi Yasir osman,

If you refer the document BIOS_VPFE_Driver_UserGuide.pdf, section 6.4.3, it says, it is good idea to restart the board and connect the CCS and load it.

I am not able to find the "videopreview.pjt" file in the PSP 1.00.02. This PSP has the preview examples called, previewer and previewer_on_the_fly. Are you refering to any of these examples?
