Supposing that you want to run MCU-only with NO power supplied to the MAIN domain, there are just a few steps:

1. you should stop your MAIN domain processors and activity on the MAIN domain so that you do not have unexpected message traffic
2. isolate the main domain CTRL_MMR_CFG0_MAIN_VDOM_CTRL.0 = 1 -- this prepares the SoC to be powered on the MCU side and not powered on the MAIN side
3. reset the MAIN domain:
   1. CTRL_MMR_CFG0_POR_RST_CTRL.0 = 1; 
   2. CTRL_MMR_CFG0_POR_RST_CTRL.19:16 = 6
4. Tell the PMIC to power down the MAIN domain
   1. I have written the PMIC register FSM_NSLEEP_TRIGGERS = 0x3
   2. I have cleared existing interrupts and configured the interrupts on the PMIC.
   3. since nothing is alive in the MAIN, force I2C_7 (PMIC register FSM_I2C_TRIGGERS) = 0
   4. I have written the PMIC register FSM_NSLEEP_TRIGGERS = 0x2 in order to get the PMIC to power-down the MAIN domain

Customer have verified on TDA4VME, and they succeed to power down the main domain, but can not power up the main domain. 

Do we have next step guide to wake up main domain?
