Hi,
I need some help setting the default display output to DVI on my Mistral TI OMAP 3530 Rev G ARM board running Windows CE 6.0 on the Adeneo BSP. I've tried speaking directly to TI's technical support on this issue and they are, to put it as politely as I can, as much use a chocolate teapot and have given me the run-around for ~17 days straight now without any progress being made on this whatsoever.
My problem is that I need to have the board output on the DVI port by default; I can get it to temporarily output to the DVI, but whatever I try I cannot get this setting to persist over a cold boot and the board reverts back to LCD output.
If I connect to the board via putty on UART 3 and get to the eboot display menu and set the output to be DVI, save the settings, and boot the system then the DVI output works fine. If I then use the WARM_RST or OMAP_RST buttons the DVI output is still enabled over the reboot; but if I completely switch off the board by SW2 or at the wall and switch it back on again then the display will be set back to the small LCD display.
I’ve tried setting the environment variables BSP_DVI_ENABLE = 1 and BSP_DVI_1280W_720H = 1 in my PB solution but it appears to have no effect.
I am at a loss as for things to try, does anyone have any suggestions? I’m finding it hard to believe I’m the only person to have experienced this issue!
Thanks in advance for any help/advice!
