I am experiencing issues with running the basic PROFINET verification on my TMDS64EVM using the `ind_comms_sdk_am64x_09_02_00_09`. Despite following the provided instructions, I am unable to achieve the expected results in the PRONETA tool.
Here are the steps I have followed:
1. Hardware Setup:
- Connected the evaluation board to my computer using micro-USB cables for the JTAG interface and UART console.
- Connected the boards to the power supplies as per the specifications in the AM64x/AM243x GP EVM User's Guide.
2. Boot Mode and Initialization:
- Powered off the EVM.
- Set the boot mode to UART.
- Powered on the EVM and confirmed that the character "C" was printed on the UART terminal every 2-3 seconds.
- Closed the UART terminal.
- Flashed the SOC Initialization Binary
- Powered off the EVM.
- Set the boot mode to OSPI.
- Powered on the EVM and verified the expected output on the UART terminal.
3. Import and Build the PROFINET Example:
- Opened Code Composer Studio (CCS).
- Imported the PROFINET example project from the `ind_comms_sdk_am64x_09_02_00_09`.
- Built the project in release configuration.
4. Running the Example:
- Started the launch configuration included with the project.
- Connected to target `R5_0_0`.
- Loaded the compiled binary to the connected CPU.
- Resumed execution.
5. Verification with PRONETA Tool:
- Downloaded and installed the PRONETA Commissioning and Diagnostics Tool for PROFINET networks.
- Connected an Ethernet cable between my PC and one of the J21-ICSSG Ethernet ports on the board.
- Opened PRONETA and refreshed the window, but the tool did not detect the PROFINET IO device.
