Doubt in DM368 video capture

Hi all,

 

I am trying to run capture resizing example and other examples on DM368-IPNC.But all are failing when trying to open video capture

device /dev/video.Currently video capture device 'video' or 'video0' is not loaded in the /dev directory.

But capture/encode/ipipe demos are running in daemon.I have a doubt that which capture device they are using.

Please guide me regarding this.

    This cant happen! IPIPE demos use character drivers written for previewer and resizer I believe. I am not sure about encode demos. But, coming to capture devices, they should be video devices as I know.

    Thanks for your reply.Actually i am not able to get a simple capture display working on DM368-IPNC.I am currently working on reference design.

    Do you have any such application which can run on the current set up.Also if you could please guide me how can i develop the simple application on my own.

    I just want to capture in real time and dum the output in some .yuv file.
