I need to know the logic state(i.e high, low or High impedance) for the below mentioned pins under Default state and Reset state

IO pins, ADC pins, EADC pins and DPWM pins for the part number UCD3138ARGCR.

Please provide any document available.

Hello Lithiyashree,

What do you mean by default state vs. reset state? I do not believe we will have documentation for such detailed logic states of the UCD. What is the reason for needing to know the initial logic states?

Let me reframe the statement

I want to know the MCU pin states (IO pins, ADC pins, EADC pins and DPWM pins, CAN Tx, CAN Rx) when The MCU pin is in reset state. Like the pin state i.e Tristate or High impedance etc. in which state it will after reset. For Both the processor UCD3138ARGCR and MSPM0G3507SPTR. I need these details for the software configuration.

Please give me until the end of the week to get back to you as I do not know the answer as of this moment. However, I suspect that we will not have such detailed information about the UCD's default states.

Hello Lithiyashree,

The initial value of input pins, such as the ADCs and EADCs, will be whatever the input will be. The initial value of output pins, such as the DPWMs, will be pulled to low at startup. The GPIO pins will be harder to know but will most likely either be the initial value if configured as an input or pulled to low if configured as an output

If you plan on leaving any pins unused, then tie them to GND to ensure there are no startup issues.
