Hi experts,

Please confirm the following statement regarding Partial-IO LPM.

Usage environment:
・EVM: SK-AM62B-P1
・SDK: MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM62X Version 09.02.01.06

Processor SDK Linux for AM62x -> 3.2.2.12.5.4. Partial I/O
Note
Only AM62 LP-SK EVM supports Partial I/O mode.

Q1. Am I correct in understanding that the above note is intended for evaluation boards?
For example, does it support the AM625 or AM620-Q1 chips?

Q2. If it is not supported as a chip other than "SK-AM62-LP", can you tell me the reason why it is not supported?
For example, is it a problem with the board configuration or what differences(PMIC) in the boards are affecting it?

Hello O.H,

AM62 LP-SK EVM refers to SK-AM62-LP.

Partial I/O Mode requires the PMIC signal 'PMIC_LPM_EN0' to be connected to the CANUART module. This allows for MCAN & UART wakeup sources to be enabled while in Partial I/O mode.

As seen in the schematic, SK-AM62B-P1 (https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62B-P1#design-files) has disconnected the signal:

But SK-AM62-LP (https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62-LP#design-files) does have the connection to CANUART:

The PMIC_MODE signal can be traced further to see this.
