I have a DM8168 evm board use TVP5158, now i use ezsdk_05_02_02_60, the release note document said that "External video capture is only supported through the TVP7002 video decoder via I2C1." I want to konw which new version will support the TVP5158.

Hi,

EZSDK will not support TVP5158. Can you please let us know the application you are trying with a daughter card you have with TVP5158. We have some other framework for daughter card with TVP5158 since its a multi channel decoders.

I want to do a 16 channels D1 encoder, How can I get the capture throgh the VFCC and CTRL.TVP component.

Hi,

As I told earlier we dont support 16 channels capture on ezsdk. Please contact your local FAEs to know more about 16 channel capture + encode.

I saw the video "DaVinci(TM) DM816x Hybrid DVR Reference Design" from the web http://www.ti.com/product/tms320dm8168. This DVR use 16 channels D1 capture.

Why it can do this task.

Hi,

This is supported using some different framework instead of ezsdk. This is called multi channel framework(MCFW) and not EZSDK. Please contact your local FAE for getting the SDK for same. It may requrie some NDA/licensing agreements.
