Gallery and Music can't find any file

hello,

I'm building TI-Android-GingerBread-DSP-2.3-DevKit-1.0 on the DM3730 EVM,download the source code by the string "TI-Android-GingerBread-DSP-2.3-DevKit-1.0.xml" and download dvsdk_dm3730-evm_4_01_00_09_setuplinux package for DSP support .

I follow the steps according to " TI-Android-GingerBread-2.3-DevKit-1.0_DeveloperGuide.pdf " ,and finish the build section .

But there has no file in the Gallery and Music when I open Gallery & Music .I have confirmed that path /sdcard contains Media_Clips directory .

Has anyone got the same problem ?

Hi Hauang,

1. /sdcard should contain following directory structure.

# cd /mnt/sdcard
# ls
Audio
Images
Video
LOST.DIR
Android
DCIM

2. It happens sometimes media scanner will fail to execute at startup. You can manually scan the media using devtools->Media Scanner

If you are still not getting any clips, kindly provide logcat for more analysis

Thanks for your reply .

1、The directory structure in the path /sdcard is just what you said .

2、 After I manually scan the media ,now I can find the media file in the Gallery ,but It still can't display the photos and videos .

The attach file is the logcat when I opne the Gallery.

Hi Baker,

Could you send us full log ? Only thing log says it - media service is getting killed. That is the reason you are not seeing any photos.

Give us log using logcat.

$logcat

The problem has been solved ,thank you for your response .

There is something wrong with my boot.scr .I don't know what the bootargs is,so I didn't set the bootargs before .Now I use the boot.scr in the Prebuilt_Images instead of my boot.scr ,it can work now ,thank you .
