OMAP3515 USB Host is not switch automatically between Hi-speed and Low-speed

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3715

We need a solution for the OMAP speed detection bug. One way is use an Onboard USB-hub. But that is not very clever. What is with the shinked OMAP version AM3715. Could that a replacement?

In the migration guide is mentioned that the USB OTG unit is replace against the "New mentor core 1.8 Rev". Cover this unit also the USB host functionallity and the bug is fixed in this revision?

  • The limitation of supporting low speed and full speed USB peripherals only applies to the high speed USB host ports HSUSB1 and HSUSB2.

The USB OTG port (HUSB0) does not have this limitation on OMAP35xx or AM37xx devices.
