PROCESSOR-SDK-AM64X: TFTP/NFS for Linux boot?

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-AM64X

Tool/software:

Hello!

This is actually a follow-up for this post:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1379944/processor-sdk-am64x-step-by-step-documentation-for-using-tftp-nfs-for-linux-boot

which has been locked for some reason although not solved.

There are additional findings I found worth sharing on that matter.

As it turned out, in the SDK version 09.02.01.10 in junction with the TMDS64GPEVM TFTP/NFS is only working on interface eth0.

On interface eth2 TFTP boot is working via U-Boot, but NFS not (as discussed in the aforementioned thread).

On interface eth1 TFTP boot is not working via U-Boot, hence the system is not coming to the stage where NFS would be needed.

Although I can stably use the TMDS64GPEVM via TFTP/NFS boot now, there is still the question what is the issue

with eth2.

Mario
