AM625-Q1: how to run the M4F application on the DDR?

Hi expert,

Our customer is running some M4F application on the IRAM. But they found if move this app to the IRAM, the speed will be much slower even if the cache is enabled. Customer is not sure whether their usage is correct. Could you please help to check if we have some guide or demo about how to run M4F app on the DDR? Thanks

Hello Xingyu Zhu,

We don't encourage users to use DDR from M4F core since, while executing code from DDR, the performance of M4F will be significantly slower(~100x times) than code execution from M4F IRAM.

There is already an FAQ about how to use DDR from M4F and go through it.
