Hi,

We have XJ784S4(TDA4) on our board and I want to create U-Boot files and Linux image for it.

I took the tiboot3.bin, tispl.bin and u-boot.img files from the ti-processor-sdk-linux-adas-j784s4-evm-09_02_00_05 SDK,

And I tried to load them to the main_uart via X/YMODEM but after loading the tiboot3.bin file the CC stopped and there is no any prints in main_uart com.

What need to change in the SDK in order to succeed to come to U-Boot prompt?

Rachel,

Typically in the bootloader phase you will need to take care of at least the following differences if any on your custom board:

Uart instance that's used as console.
Custom DDR changes.
Pinmux changes.

Regarding to the custom DDR file, If we have XJ784S4, where I need to replace the custom DDR file? in which file? in k3-j784s4-r5-evm.dts file?
