Can you share configuration files for processor:TMS320VC5502 for CCS 3.3 and CCS 12.7, please?

I need to update old project but there is not possible to choose TMS320VC5502 in both CCS.

have you installed the correct device support for C55x Ultra Low Power DSPs?

in CCS 12.7, there is TMS320C5502 (without"V"). I suppose, I can use it.

In CCS 3.3 there are only C28 processor available. No library for C55

Hi Pawel,

You should move on to the latest CCS version 12.7.1, but you may have to install the following components:

DSP/BIOS 5.42.00.07 and DSP/BIOS 5.42.02.10
CGT for C5500 4.4.1
XDCTools 3.24.05.48
XDAIS 7.24.00.04

Then use the CCS --> Projects --> Import Legacy CCSv3.3 Projects ... to import your CCS 3.3 projects:

Hi Pawel,

I'm doing a similar update of a TMS320VC5502 project from CCS v2.0 to CCS v12.7

Here's my list of installed components that has been working for me:

Note: I found that DSP/BIOS v5.42.01.09 was the last version that had the proper library for the 5502 to link against.

I'm using the XDS200 debug probe and have found it to be working well with CCS v12.7
