TDA4VH-Q1: Use Video Codec chip for H264 encoding occasional device opening failure problem.

Part Number: TDA4VH-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA4VH

Tool/software:

Hi, experts

My SDK version:

        linux:  ti-processor-sdk-linux-adas-j784s4-evm-09_01_00_06

        rtos:  ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j784s4-evm-09_01_00_06

I opened /dev/video1, and accidentally the vdec 4210000.video-codec driver reported an error, the content is as follows:

  [ 13.310493] vdec 4220000.video-codec: VPU wakeup(W5_VPU_REMAP_CORE_START) timeout
  [ 13.310583] vdec 4210000.video-codec: VPU wakeup(W5_VPU_REMAP_CORE_START) timeout

driver code:

Path: linux_sdk\board-support\ti-linux-kernel-6.1.46+gitAUTOINC+5892b80d6b-g5892b80d6b\drivers\media\platform\chips-media\wave5\wave5-hw.c

After the error was reported, the device could not be used normally.

I hope experts can provide me with some help to explore the cause of the problem.

Regards.
