I find the log in "dcu_processorsdk_linux_09_01_00_06_adc20_3.0/board-support/ti-u-boot-2023.04+gitAUTOINC+71b8c840ca-g71b8c840ca/drivers/i2c/omap24xx_i2c.c"

I don't know why this is happening.I haven't changed anything. Is my board broken?

  • Hello Zhang,

We have a few questions to understand your situation better:

    - Did you change any dip-switch settings on the board? Suggest double-check once again against the EVM user guide Jacinto7 DRA829/TDA4VM Evaluation Module (EVM) Users Guide (Rev. E)

    - Did you move to a newer SDK or update the SD card with new content? Also, did you try with an older SDK boot and rootfs files?

    - Have you tried using a different SD card?

    Thanks.

  • 1.I change dip-switch setting to boot on SD boot mode.

    2.I use the latest base package.boot-adas-j721e-evm.tar.gz (md5sum:0c31dd7d2e7cb8282259ddc0129cd59f)and tisdk-adas-image-j721e-evm.tar.xz (md5sum:72a3f867795d0229cd2d106be8042dab)

    3. I replaced the SD card with a new one, but the issue remains the same

According to the log,I review the code.I found that i2c controller was waiting for a register bit to be set.Maybe my board was broken...

  • HI Zhang,

OK Thanks for the details. We are not sure if it is a broken board as we have not seen this happening at our end on any of our boards.  To be sure, suggest trying the same SD card with the same dip-switch setting on a different board if you have.

    Thanks.
