Looking to try and find the maximum rate that raw data can be captured by the DM3730 (Beagleboard).

What is the maximum clock that can be input to the DM3730?

Can I create a parallel port with the GPIO and capture this? What would be the maximum rate that this data could be read in?

Hi,

HDVPSS VIP port can capture BT656 and BT1120 data with a maximum clock speed of 165MHz.

Hi Eric did you ever get your GPIO working at a fast rate ? I am trying to get a GPIO working with a Linux interrupt at about 1ms duty cycle. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks Marc

What is the type of data that you are trying to capture here? What is the maximum throughput that you need here? Based on that you can select the interfaces.
