TDA4VM: TDA4VM ISP Tuning AWB question

Part Number: TDA4VM

Tool/software:

Hi TI,

I'm currently using TDA4VM and otobrite IMX390 camera to do AWB in ISP Tuning.

The SDK version I use is 9.2.0.5, and the DCC Tool uses version 3.0.

Here are my current steps

  1. Start a new project
  2. Enter a raw file
  3. Grab the four corners of the color checker from the lower left corner, in order: upper left, upper right, lower right, lower left
  4. Set other parameters and click next page
  5. On the next page, an error appears.

The following is the error content I encountered. I need your help to solve this problem.

Error content:

Function process exited with error code: -1 - Plugin returned message:

No colorchecker coordinates found for file:

Use the macbeth chart selector in the preview window to set coordinates. This can only be done after preprocessing.

Please tell me how to solve this problem, thank you.

  • Hi Jiarong,

No colorchecker coordinates found for file:

This error is typically for missing the step 3 above.
Do you have at least 4 input reference files in your AWB plugin (all selected and imported)?

If it is an issue with just one particular project, you may create a new project and try again or click "menu/Execute/Reset current plugin".

You may also share the problematic project in this thread for us to inspect the issue.

the DCC Tool uses version 3.0.

The latest version is 3.1 from last year and you shall download and use it from mysecuresw if you access is not expired.

  • Hi, thank you for your reply.

You are right, after I input 4 input reference files, I can continue the subsequent operations.

I would like to ask, the latest version of DCC Tool mentioned at the end, if I don’t download and use the latest version, will there be any impact?

  • Hi,

if I don’t download and use the latest version, will there be any impact?

There are several bug fixes in 3.1, but no major changes if I recall properly.

You may send me your work email address and we can approve your access if necessary.
Once the next bug-fix version of 3.2 comes out later, you can get it as well with the approved access.
